You arrive in Lviv , Ukraine 's famous cultural and educational center created by many generations and various ethnic groups. The city of Lviv is included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Hotel “LEOPOLIS ****” or “GRAND**** or EUROHOTEL*** check – in (after 14:00 ) . We pick you up at the airport/railway station. Right from the airport/railway station guided tour of the city which was founded at the crossroads of ancient trade routes, world cultures and religions. Lviv unique architectural monuments, cosy and somewhat mystic medieval atmosphere, the traditions and charm have been remarkably preserved through the ages. You'll observe the baroque St. George Cathedral, ancient Lviv Universities , elegant central avenues, beautiful theatres, monuments and parks. You will enjoy a breathtaking view of the city from the High Castle Hill… Dinner in Lviv typical restaurant with live music will be offered to you for extra payment. |
SATURDAY |
9.00 After tasty breakfast, we take you on a walking tour of medieval Lviv. The city has the full range of European styles from Renaissance to Art Nouveau; there was a little damage during the World War II or Soviet rule. Begin in the main square, the Rynok, with Renaissance facades from the 16 th cent., Town Hall building and fountains and continue to the late 16 th -cent., Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Assumption, the Gothic Roman Catholic Cathedral and the ancient mystic Armenian Cathedral, an ensemble dating back to the 14th cent… There will be so many things to see, that everybody will find something up to his taste! Lunch in the very heart of medieval city. The evening is spent enjoying concerts in the clubs and halls or performance at the Opera House, or, maybe, tasting delicious food and famous coffee at one of the numerous restaurants or clubs throughout the city. You will not go to bed early enough… |
SUNDAY |
08.00 breakfast. 09.00 hotel check-out 09.30 We take you on a wonderful tour to a little charming historic city of ZHOVKVA and Krechiv Greek Catholic monastery. You'll have the possibility to see Lviv suburbs, villages, fantastic architectural monuments and admire picturesque nature. If the weather is good you will have a chance to take water from a “Holy Spring” known in Ukraine .Don't forget to take a bottle and comfortable shoes! (optional) or we give you free time for buying presents at the numerous antique shops and art markets or visiting Lviv museums and galleries upon your personal interests. 14.45 Good bye lunch is waiting for you in Lviv brewery restaurant. You'll taste draft fresh beer and enjoy original West Ukrainian meals and interior. 16:30 Transfer to the airport. |
