One-Day Programme (no overnight stay)
Pick-up at the railway station. Right from the railway station go on a guided sightseeing tour of the city visiting St. Sophiya Cathedral – the main church of Kyiv Rus (XI c), Golden Gates, St. Volodymyr's Church, completely restored St. Mykhailo's monastery and Rastrelli's masterpiece - St. Andrew's Church. Lunch at the typical Kiev restaurant “Pervak.” An excursion to “Kiev-Pechersk Lavra” Monastery, an orthodox center of Ukraine since XI c. Tour of the monastery grounds, caves, Trinity Church, bell tower and a visit to the Museum of Ukrainian Folk Art and Ukrainian Museum of Historical Treasures. Free time and souvenir shopping. Festive dinner at a national Ukrainian restaurant with live music. Transfer to the railway station. Departure.
Two-Day Programme (1 night)
DAY 1- Pick-up at the railway station. Lunch at the typical Kiev restaurant “Pervak.” After lunch you can choose to walk down the most ancient cobblestone street of Andriyivskyy Uzviz - the "Montmatre of Kyiv - and Old Podil. Souvenir shopping. Visiting private galleries and craft shops. Dinner on your own. Visit to a concert or theatre performance (when available).
DAY 2 – Breakfast. An excursion to “Kiev-Pechersk Lavra” Monastery, an orthodox center of Ukraine since XI c. Tour of the monastery grounds, caves, Trinity Church, bell tower and a visit to the Museum of Ukrainian Folk Art and Ukrainian Museum of Historical Treasures. Lunch in the city center (optional). After lunch you can visit one of Kiev museums (Museum of the History of Ukraine, Museum of Western and Eastern Art) or spend some time in the city center. Farewell dinner at a national Ukrainian restaurant with live music. Departure for the railway station.

Visit to the open-air Museum of Rural Life and Architecture in Pirogovo, where more than 300 monuments of folk building tradition are located, incl. household utensils, clothes, works of folk art. Lunch at restaurant “Mlyn” in Pirogovo. Free time in the city center. Boat trip on the Dnieper River (optional, in summer). Dinner on your own. At night you can visit a concert programme or theatre performance (optional).

The cost includes accommodation at hotel “Ukraina” in the city center (except one-day tour), meals FB for one-day tour and HB for 2- and 3- day tours, services of an English (German, Italian, Spanish, French) speaking guide, entrance fees to the museums included in the programme, bus transportation according to the programme, VAT. Group leader – gratis.
The cost of the tour will be adjusted based on the actual group size, arrival/departure details and corresponding programme modifications.
